How to choose an uptime check interval

1. Write down your own response time
   If nobody answers before 15 minutes, a 30-second interval buys nothing.
2. Count the checks your plan allows
   Interval multiplied by monitor count is what consumes a quota; halve the interval and you halve the monitors you can afford.
3. Separate critical from informational
   Give the checkout endpoint the tight interval and the marketing site a loose one.
